Stranger Danger -- or Not!!

Great Danes being a guardian breed can sometimes struggle with changes in their environment or new people.

To help with this; let me introduce Mr. Bear.

Our Mr. Bear represents a stranger. He visits the puppies often. Sometimes he wears funny hats, sunglasses, different clothes, etc. He sits in a new place every time he shows up. Sometimes Mr. Bear comes while the puppies are awake; sometimes he comes while they are asleep and they open their eyes to find him waiting.

While we also have "real humans" who come to spend time with these little guys, Mr. Bear is just an extra visitor that we can use to create a positive emotional response to change and newness.

I think the puppies like his visits!!
